Selective High School Year 9 Entry Exam Update

Year 9 entry in 2021 

Due to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) and associated restrictions on gatherings, the originally scheduled examination date of Saturday 13 June 2020 has now been postponed. The examination is now proposed to take place on 19 September 2020. 

The closing date for submitting an application has been updated to Friday 29 May 2020. To be considered for selection into the selective entry high schools in 2021, you must submit an application before this closing date.

Any further revision to the testing arrangements that may become necessary will be communicated to those that have applied by this deadline. If you have already submitted an application, no further action is needed as a result of this updated advice.

Top Scope College has decided to modify the course as below.

 

1. Top Scope College will extend the course and keep providing our Selective School Preparation (SST8) course to all of Year 8 students until one week before the examination day, 12th September 2020.

 

2. In addition, Free Maths Concepts class will continue teaching and summarising the important topics.

 

3. Top Scope College Simulation Tests will be postponed until four weeks before 19th September.


Year 10 entry in 2021

Year 10 entry John Monash Science School Preparation exam has been postponed to Term 3. The exact date hasn’t been announced yet. Year 11 entry John Monash Science School Preparation exam has been postponed to 20th June 2020.


Top Scope College will extend the course and keep providing our Selective Test Science (STS 9) course to all of Year 9 students until one week before the examination day.
