My two girls have been going to Top Scope for a few years. The teachers at TSC are of a high standard. Their teaching helps my girls to perform beyond the expected standard at their year levels. We have been quite happy with TSC. Even though it is 1 hour drive up and down, we don't mind taking our girls to TSC, Chadstone.
Teachers made an effort to provide additional free time to coach their students struggling on certain topics. This shows the school is committed to help their students. I don’t see this in another coaching school.
Accelerated Learning – the fast-paced delivery of the standard national curriculum is intended to equip academically gifted and driven students with the necessary tools to tackle the complexities of advanced courses in the future stages of their education.
Our curriculum is designed to expose students to content that is half a year more advanced than the Australian Curriculum. The class follows a sequential developmental pathway from year 1 to 10 in the three core subjects of the national curriculum: English, Mathematics, and Abstract Reasoning (year 1 – 6) or Science (Year 7 – 10).
The ALC strives to develop and refine students’ critical thinking and learning abilities, cultivating a skillset focused on independent learning, examination skills and research.
The curriculum for years 1-7 solidifies the foundational skills that are essential for scholarship and selective entrance examinations. The ALC class effectively allows students to extend the standard two-year VCE by an additional year by commencing their studies earlier, broadening the range of subjects they undertake and allowing them to complete more year 12 (Unit 3 & 4) studies than a mainstream student.
